Recently we found a blog (URL) which reviewed the Vigor2830Vn router. Their test results indicated a lower than expected WAN 2 throughputs in the router. The earlier firmware version did limit the WAN2 throughput. However, DrayTek have worked to improve the firmware resulting in greater performance in the router. The WAN2 network throughput has almost doubled in this latest firmware version.
We ran performance tests using iperf software and the results are shown below:
